My wife brought home some of their cupcakes today and they are awesome. By far the best cupcakes I have ever had. The chicken and waffle is amazing.
Yum! I purchased 2 cupcakes: pumpkin and sweet potato. I ate the pumpkin, my friend had the sweet potato. We both agreed they were delicious. The flavoring was right on. I love a pumpkin dessert that actually tastes like pumpkin and not just sugar and spices. K & J's does it right!
I really enjoy K&J's creations! We purchased cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party. The cupcakes were delicious.
I'm glad you were made aware of the situation but unfortunately your facts are wrong. We WERE there before closing time. Was it a few minutes till closing? Yes, but still before closing time. Hostile and cursing? I think not. While I'm sure I raised my voice a bit out of anger and disbelief of having the door shut on us after driving that far, I was not hostile nor did I curse anyone. If you have cameras, I urge you to look and see what time we got there and hopefully there's audio so you can also see that I was not hostile to or curse anyone.
Also, K&J's milkshakes are amazing! They are very popular so don't be surprised if there is a long line. Worth the wait!
Drove over 3 hours to come here as I’ve seen interesting news about the place. Picked up a friend’s kids from school and we took a road trip for this place. They close at 7. We got stuck in 5p traffic going through Birmingham so the 2hr drive turned into over 3hrs. I called ahead (about 40 Minutes before closing) and explained there was a wreck on the interstate but we were just an exit down. Was told they close at 7 but if we got there beforehand to not worry. At 10 minutes til closing we arrive and were told that workers had already gone home and the place was shutting down for the night. I told the lady I spoke with we had called earlier and explained the situation. We weren’t able to get or try anything. Some poor customer service they have here... unfortunate because the kids were super excited but a waste of a drive.
DO NOT give this company your business! We didn't even get the opportunity to eat here after driving 45 minutes! If I could give 0 stars I would just for the customer service. We got there before their closing time of 6pm. There was a line and they cut it off at us. I explained to the young girl that we'd driven 45 minutes just to try them. She went and got a lady a little older and she said the same thing. Again, I explained that we were there before closing and that we'd driven a long way. She went and got who, I presume, was the owner. He said that the line ended in front of us. I, for a third time, explained everything to him. He didn't care. You would think that a company such as this would welcome the business. I will not be back and I will tell everyone I know of our experience.
