I love this park for running. It's got really beautiful scenery (trees and water and hills), and the pavement is in good condition all the way around the 1.7 mile trail (including the parking lot). People who frequent the park are really courteous (in my experience) and the park is mostly very clean. Four stars because of the sometimes trash in the parking lot.
One of the bigger parks I've been to, well kept and comfortable environment. Has soccer, frisbee, baseball and concrete skate park if you're not in the jogging/running mood. Has playground for the little ones and my favorite part is you can bring your dog to play in their own designated play area.
This is a very nice park. We picked up lunch and ate at the picnic tables. The area was clean and comfortable for having lunch. There's also a nice play area for the kids. They loved playing on the swings and slide and had a great time.
We brought our puppy to Veterans dog park a year ago and we had just adopted him from Chilton Humane Society a few weeks prior to coming to the park and he was a little overwhelmed. But we walked the 2mi, is it? trail and he thoroughly enjoyed it! This afternoon when we got to the dog park, he was excited to get in and seemed to enjoy this much more! We will absolutely bring him again!!
This dog park is awesome. It’s gated on two different sides for dogs or puppies under and over 35lbs. Water fountains training obstacles. It’s a must if you have fur babies!!
