Always willing to give you a hand, polite, community oriented.

Update 12/6/17 - For the third time in less than a year, the Alabaster Post Office has lost/misplaced a package of mine. I was actually told today that sometimes the package goes to the wrong box and is taken and never brought back. Wow, that makes me feel good!

Kerry

I am in the post office everyday, Monday through Saturday dropping off packages.

I have worked with USPS facilities in Phoenix, Miami and here in Alabaster, AL.

I have been in my office since September 2016 and have had major problems since then.

Thank you guys for your great work and be assured that you are the best USPS facility west of the Atlantic Ocean!!!

Went in this morning 3/2/17 to drop off a letter. The lady working ( short gray hair) was so very rude and gave me the biggest attitude. I've been dropping off the same letters the past two weeks. She refused to put stamps on it and said it's considered a package. That's fine my question was why did the other lady's put two stamps in them? She raised her hands and said I'm not doing it and pushed them at me. I'm not rude nor was I rude and certainly did not deserve this type of treatment. I was simply asking a question. I will be using UPS even though it costs more because her attitude and lack of service was uncalled for. No winder our postal service is struggling!!!

This is the ONLY bad review I have ever left. As a business owner in Alabaster this is the worst service I have ever received. I have had my credit cards lost, my bank account statements LEFT ON TOP OF THE MAILBOX (thankfully someone next door noticed and brought it to me) and my mail NEVER consistently arrives at my office. Every single package that I have ever had delivered has been delivered to the wrong address and the manager has had to go track it down.

We have a new mail lady every week and we never know when the mail will be delivered.

I have NEVER seen a post office that works so hard to make the customers happy! From asking appropriate questions to repacking a customer's box to calling for additional clerks to help if there is more than a person or two in line.

I am pretty much being forced to have my mail delivered to my home address in a different city.
