Only called this place 'cause my regular plumber was booked for the day. But don't waste your time if it's something that you need done quickly and/or it's a smaller job! Had a shower knob come off my only shower in the house and it was like Niagara Falls at 4am. I had to turn off my main line in order to get the water to stop. I called The Neighborhood Plumber to arrange someone to come out and the only thing they had available was for after 5pm. Around 6pm a couple guys showed up, shoved the knob back on, turned my main line back on and told me they would be back tomorrow to replace the fixture, and that I shouldn't use it until it gets fixed. It's been SEVEN DAYS! Haven't heard anything and I still don't have my shower fixed! If they didn't want to do the job, why couldn't they just have told me?! I called my regular plumber and he was able to fix the knob/faucet they same day with no problems.
I have never written a review on a company before. However, my experience with Neighborhood Plumber, warrants a review. Their service was great. The plumber arrived at the scheduled time and quickly identified the problem. Ryan was very competent, courteous, professional and most importantly honest. I highly recommend this company.
Very impressed. After getting the run around from 2 other companies I called The Neighborhood Plumber. I got same day service.. they called before they came.. Ryan even used shoes covers to come into my house even though he didn't need to. Repaired a toilet that had ran my water bill up. I felt very comfortable with this company! Will definitely use them again!
Had a HUGE job replacing every copper pipe in our house and they gave us a fair price and got to us quickly. They arrived every day early, and were always courteous and careful not to have the water off for too long. We new the job would take 3 days and every day I got a "plan for the day" and a recap of what they did before they went home. I am so impressed with their professionalism and customer service! They even brought us a Christmas gift! I would recommend these guys to any friend or family member who needs a plumber. If they are busy when you call, they're worth the wait!
Called on 5/15 and spoke with the receptionist. Gave her my name, address, and went into great detail of the problem I was having with a toilet in our home. She took everything down, or so I thought, and stated someone would be out between 9-11am on 5/16. She stated it would be closer to 9am but wouldn't be the first stop. Around 10:30 I called the office to see when someone would be out. The receptionist who answered had no idea who I was, didn't have my name or any of my information anywhere and no one was scheduled to come do a repair on our toilet. When I told her I would call someone else, she seemed indifferent, which she obviously doesn't know is bad for business. No apology for the mistake and no offer to make it right. I would not call them back and I would not give them my money. They should invest in someone who can learn the very simple task of taking down names and phone numbers and assigning them to an appointment.
